Vishnu is ever awake as a poise of Consciousness. The wake up call is to the soul of ours bound in space and time to the puny intellect and snare of the senses.
Sri Venkatesa Suprabatham is sung by Prakash Rao.
Our other songs sung by Prakash Rao are Hayagreeva Pancharam, Hayagreeva Kavacham, Sri Varaha Manthram, Sri Bhoovaraha Asthotharam, Sri Varaha Kavacham, Sree Vishnu Sahasranama Stothram, Sri Ambujaavalli Asthothram.
'Vishnu Sahasranama' refers to the 1000 names of Lord Vishnu. Similarly other Sahasranama refer to those of the respective Gods. The names with which He is referred to could be anything. There are no specific rules for Vishnu Sahasranama Stotram. The rules are same as those of any Hindu worship: clean mind , clean body, clean place and clean clothes. It is a normal practice to recite Lakshmi Stotram as an annexure to Vishnu Sahasranama Stotram.
It would be more fruitful, if one could learn the correct pronunciation and meaning of the stotra before reciting it. If the person understands the verse he/she recites, it would yield more results and might also help in shaping one's character.
